Wasn't that vomit inducing?
I don't usually make a fuss over Mother's day, mine isn't in the best of health at the moment, I'd be very surprised if she sees the year out, so I thought I'd make an effort. A bunch of flowers and a huge box of nearly outdated chocolates from the "stack in high, sell it cheap" shop and she's happy as Larry.
You're all heart, you are. Jx
ReplyDeletePS That song made me puke even when I first heard it at the age of eight. It hasn't improved with age.
I was only joshing about the cheap chocolates, they were M&S finest. I wish the same could be said about her health though, they are a worry.
DeleteTell me about it. Jx
DeleteI don't like squeaky, shrill kiddy voices so I didn't play the link.
ReplyDeleteBut bless you for buying your mother a gift. I'm sure Jesus loves you.
Very wise Dinah. I played it for my mother on her Alexa device she told me to "turn that shit off", she can be very coarse.
DeleteThat was very sweet of you. You can hide it, but you're just a softy.
ReplyDeleteI have an accommodating nature, very obliging.
DeleteI have also not played the link for the same reason as Dinah, but I think I can vaguely remember it, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteAll the very best to your mum.

My first choice was Lena Zavaroni singing Ma, He's Making Eyes At Me, but thought better of it.
DeleteI hope your Mum's health improves.
ReplyDeleteI'm not one for children's voices. Or children, for that matter.
Sadly not MJ, COPD is a progressive disorder of the lungs, she's was first diagnosed with it 15 years ago.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that, Mitzi. My late mother had a lung disease, too.
