Frizzy Lizzie

A scene that greeted me yesterday afternoon.

It would be great to get up in a morning, take a look in the mirror and say oh fuck it, that'll do.

  1. I often do, but I am blessed in the hair department.

    1. I know, I've often seen your image been used in various indoor market hair salons. I wash mine daily in the shower, I use a shampoo in bar form with added conditioner from Savers, I've had it for nigh on 6 months now, with still no signs of it wearing, ideal for those austere times.

    2. I just don't bother looking in the mirror at all.

    3. When my mother turned 60 she went a bit funny in the head, she had her beautiful Diana Dors esque hairdo (only less tarty) cut short, she stopped wearing make-up and wore mens clothes and flat shoes I was, quite frankly appalled and refused to acknowledge her until she changed her ways.

  3. Whatever that is, it looks much more like some kind of upholstery material than hair.

  4. Maybe she's trying out her Hallowe'en wig?

Oh, okay, I'm grasping at straws...

  6. Maybe their hair is part of a larger persona. Bob Ross hated his White Man afro, but it became his signature look and there wasn't much he could do about it once he became popular. I think I'd rather be more like Mister Roger's and my famous persona shifts between sweaters and/or pairs of shoes.

    1. I'm familiar with Bob Ross, when he flaps his paint brush against his easel it gives me a pleasurable thrill like no other.
