When We Were Young

 Mitzi laments her lost youth.

What's with the electricity pylons, how do they symbolize lost youth or do they have darker connotations?

  1. Did you used to model yourself on Jay Aston, Mitzi? Or Cheryl Baker? Jx

PS Heaven only knows why they got stock footage of pylons in there. Reminds me of the public information film where that boy got electrocuted trying to retrieve his frisbee from a sub-station.

  3. Were Bucks Fizz ever young?
I guess they thought that playing with pylons would give them the edginess they were seeking and not make them look desperate to keep up with Madonna et al.

    1. If you admitted to liking Bucks Fizz at school, you would have had your head kicked in.

Cher must have been a huge fan as she covered one of their songs and named her tour after it.

  4. Wouldn't the concept of electric pylons be better applied in AC/DC music videos?
