Sunday Worship with the Lovely Su Pollard

For all you zealous Jesus freaks out there I give you Sunday worship with the lovely Su Pollard.

I've been looking at Su's IMDB profile and I can't believe she has only got 19 acting credits to her name. I would love to see her in Corrie.

  1. I don't think I can bear to watch this.

I've met/bumped into the lovely Su Pollard on many occasions, back when Islington's venerable gay pub the Edward VI ("the Ed and Vi", as we called it) was still going, as she lived just round the corner. [As did Linda Robson, who I bumped into queueing for Rothmans in Sainsburys; and Jimi Somerville, who was often spotted cruising round Liverpool Road on his bike.]

I never realised the C of E actually allowed people with a penchant for chunky earrings and lurid purple ra-ra skirts into the congregation. Unless they were vicars. Jx

    1. They let any old riff-raff in nowadays. I always thought Linda would be a Richmond Superking gal myself. I've been on nodding terms with Barbara Dickson when she lived in Louth, North Lincolnshire, we used to meet up occasionally at the Shell garage and nod to each other. She drove a silver Jag.

  2. I reckon Greg Wise and Emma Thompson will turn up in Corrie before Su Pollard - or perhaps they'll get an Eastenders gig - they seem to be slumming it lately.
Anyhow, Su seems to have a fine pair of lungs. And earrings.
    Sx

    1. That's what I thought of Maureen Lipman when she joined Corrie for the second time, slumming it.

    1. I like Su Pollard, good set of pipes on her, but to me she always looks as though she could do with a good wash.
