Ack. Service stations are the worst. I think they cost £1.50 in Sainsbury's. Always stock up before you go, and save the service stations for having a wee. Sx
They're £1 in Iceland! I can never understand how WH Smith survives (in fact, why it doesn't get fire-bombed), when just about everywhere is cheaper than they are for everything... Jx
They are in Home Bargains too. Bloody robdogs. It's a mystery how they survive. Have you ever been to Savers? I was in there today, proper hard sell on the Davidoff and men's razor blades.

The Sport Mix cost £1.48 in Waitrose! I usually avoid those places like the plague but we were on a coach trip and had half an hour to kill.

DeleteSavers, Wilko and Iceland are my most regular shops. Savers do a good line of minis of wine in their own glass, which is perfect for the bus home. Jx
DeleteA long way from the philanthropic Smith of 100 years ago!
ReplyDeleteI blame those pesky CCTV cameras prior to them it used to be a joy going in there for a five finger discount now it's more challenging.
DeleteFlippin' Heck! They're even more expensive than the bags of sweets in the cinema!
