If you have had sleepless nights wondering what happened to 1970s pop group Brotherhood of Man (I know I have) then fret no more, they're here in Benidorm performing at the Benidorm Palace alongside Mud (Mud II for legal reasons).
many thanks to MJ for that little trip down Memory Lane. wear did they get those clothes? I'm sure they're currently hanging in the Infomaniac Thrift Shop and Landfill.
Just Googled to see what they're up to today, besides performing at Benidorm and it says, "Brotherhood of Man still find themselves in demand on both the Nostalgia and gay circuit."
Dear Gods! I used to wear a close-fitting ski cap to muffle the sound blaring from shop doorways. They were dreadful then and can't have improved with 40+ years in the bottle...
I don't know either group. I had tuned out popular music by the time they were first around. Sorry.
ReplyDeletePS: Did Carmen enjoy the show and meal?
LX: I’m sure you do remember The Brotherhood of Man. Click here and listen.
DeleteIt’s just that we haven’t given them any thought since before Mitzi was born.
@ MJ: Oh, yes that song is vaguely familiar. The name of the group is not.
