I love your Top 100 Songs of the 80s! I've been listening to it all afternoon, especially at 3pm to drown out HRH The Queen's Speech to the Nations. I hope that in your household you've decked your balls with boughs of holly.
Meanwhile, I had a lump in my throat when I was watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this afternoon (for the 54th time). Such a sad film, in parts. Then I realised the lump in my throat was Basil's Christmas pudding.
Fantastic. That's my post Christmas dinner entertainment sorted.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day, petal.

I love your "two video mashups!" That really made Sheena Easton's Morning Train all the more enjoyable. Which is not an easy thing to do.
ReplyDeleteI still think the video of the pretty girl and her beautiful frilly dress accompanied by the Beatles "Michelle" is a classic.
Merry Christmas Mitzi and here's to a Happy New Year.
It must have been the turkey... I'm having flashbacks to frizzy perms ans pastels
ReplyDeleteThanks Mitzi for some ghosts of Christmases past....
I really think the tinkly bells made the songs much better, although nothing short of blindness would improve most of those hairdos.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, or Boxing Day, or whatever it is there by now.
