Adult Colouring Book

Colouring books for adults are all the rage nowadays. My Maid of All Work, Carmen, has taken up the trend. Is she regressing back to her childhood I wonder? It is a worry. She's sat on the couch as I type, merrily scratching away with her coloured pencils, her tongue is lolling out, she looks like a simpleton.

Colouring-in pretty pictures isn't going to get the washing-up done or the beds made, is it?

  1. If Carmen is doing them on "company time" (so to speak), then if would seem reasonable that you're entitled to a cut of the profits when she sells them!

  2. I don't understand why beating your servants has seemed to become so outmoded, especially when it's so obviously deserved.

  3. Did you know there's now a "sweary" version(not sold at supermarket checkouts!)?

  4. That's more like it and fair play to Carmen I say. You could market these as her manager naturally, and get a few quid. I don't know if The Book People would be up for it, but Hobycraft would take a pile.xx

  5. Ack. It'll pass. The next big trend is dot to dot drawing with a colour by numbers option. Hopefully Carmen will br right as rain and ironing your knickers very soon.
