  1. I wonder what's tucked away in the outbuildings?
    Good heavens!

    1. It's a palace fit for a scouse princess, and tucked away in the outbuildings are the servants quarters, of course.

  2. Farking hell! My maid would have the time of his life with the duster in there. He quite often chides me for not having enough knick-knackery about the place, and then I have to throw what I do have at his head. Come to think of it, his meagre savings might just stretch to this palace of tack, he could buy it, move out and polish his bits without getting in my way.x

    1. Well, you do have to show them who's boss, otherwise they just take you for granted. It'll be a full time job and where would you start with the dusting? If I lived there without a maid to polish my whimsies, I'll be like one of those eccentrics that live in grandoise squalor with weeds growing out of the skirting boards.

  3. How much for the tacky trinkets? Uh, I'm asking for "a friend."

    1. Well, the house is murderously overpriced, especially for Liverpool, you couldn't pay me to live there. The houses in that area go for £220.000, but this one has had a loft conversion, which would have cost about £79,000 so that's £50 for the tacky trinkets. Bargain!

  4. I'm pretty sure that house used to belong to Liberace.

    When do you move in?

    1. Well, Ayem8y. I'm torn between Liberace's old house and this little pied-à-terre in Russia.

    2. I take the Russian shed !

  5. Some places just ooze taste... sadly with this one it's all in the owners mouth I'm afraid...

    1. From the bedroom's floral arrangements alone you could open your very own millinery shop.

  6. It looks like the type of house most benefits claimants live in. Perhaps White Dee from James Turner Street will be moving in soon?

    1. It's funny you mentioned White Dee, I've just finished doing a make-over on her, it's gorgeous!

    2. I can only imagine that White Dee would require a shitload of makeup and Polyfilla to look even half-decent... I guess it's the harsh Birmingham air that ruined her rose-like complexion.
