September seems to be the month of births, deaths, weddings and funerals. I think it's Libra and the scales balancing everything out.
A good friend of mine went to the hospital with what he thought was pneumonia. It turned out to be stage 4 lung cancer. He died two weeks later. That was last week.
It certainly seems that way, my sister married and died in September (not in the same year) but her funeral wasn't until October. So sorry about your friend. I can't wait for this month to end.
