Words Of Wisdom

  1. Hello Mitzi:
How, we wonder, have we managed to get this far through life without knowing this essential tip to sandwich making?

Is this what they do in the Asda caff?

    1. Asda's caff/soup kitchen using butter on their sandwiches? I find that very hard to believe. They probably use Marge from the word Margarine because it 'spreads easy' a bit like the staff's impetigo. No, I do not frequent Asda's cafe, too many scrobnobs use it for my liking. In Morrison's they cut their sandwiches into dainty triangles with the points displayed upmost with salad and crisps to garnish.

  2. My granny used to say this to me when I was about to make a sarnie. 'Bugger off and bother someone who gives a shit', I used to smile.

    1. Did you granny used to call it "Best" butter? I know mine used to. What was that all about?

    2. Best butter was always the freshly churned stuff. Maybe only one or two days old. The rancid butter always got used for cooking. Things were different in the days before readily available refridgeration
