  2. That is very creative and soon we should have PLENTY of leaves to attempt this. But I'm not sure I will. I don't know if I'm talented enough!

  5. It's the perfect wedding bouquet for a corpse bride this coming Halloween.

    Buy yourself a vinaigrette MJ, better still, make your own pomander using an orange, studded with cloves with a cinnamon stick for a handle, that will keep those evil vapors at bay.

    If you can't find a Maple tree then Horse Chestnut leaves would make a good alternative.

  6. Our horse chestnuts have that leaf mite problem - all the leaves have gone rusty and shrivelled up.. this happened August/Sept. Very sad.

  8. There is a lovely roundabout near to where I live with an array of trees and shrubs displaying their autumn foliage and berries. I did notice the horse chestnut leaves had black spots on them, not very good for flower making. I'll have to pop along to the garden centre to see what they have in stock. We probably have to make do with the bonsai variety.
